Dejan Zavec
President
Dejan is Slovenia’s most successful boxer, having held the prestigious IBF Welterweight World Championship from 2009 to 2011.
In 2015, he competed for the WBA Super-Welterweight World Title. His tenacity and skill in the ring not only earned him a world title but also established him as a formidable contender in the boxing community.
Dejan’s ability to navigate the intricate landscape of elite boxing allowed him to forge partnerships and establish networks that would typically take decades to cultivate. His relationships with key stakeholders facilitated a more efficient and effective approach to promoting professional boxing within Slovenia and worldwide.
His leadership and vision are instrumental in driving forward SPA initiatives aimed to elevate Slovenia’s standing in the world of professional boxing, making a lasting impact that will benefit future generations of boxers.

Damjan Habjanec
First Vice President
Damjan Habjanec is the CEO and founder of the Slovenian company Reseda, which produces highly complex assemblies of metal products.
With almost 100 employees and 99% of its production exported worldwide to companies that are leaders in their fields and operate on a global scale, Reseda has established a strong international presence.
Damjan brings to the SPA a wealth of financial expertise and strategic development insight.

Hinko Kostanjevec
Chief Executive
Hinko is a senior executive with over 20 years management and leadership experience within elite sport, major events, athlete representation, National Team athlete, and specialist senior solicitor throughout England, Europe, Gulf Region, Asia, and Australia.
He read for Master of Laws (sport / IP), Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (economics / history).
Hinko has practiced law in London, England, for over a decade at world leading law firms, with significant experience in sports law, having advised on a wide range of sport related issues from regulations regarding membership, participation, conduct and discipline, selection and qualification, doping, and rights holder and sponsorship rights.
